Im Moment ist sogar ein Taifun unterwegs. Eigentlich ist jetzt keine Taifun Zeit. Auch kommt es selten vor, dass Taifune direkt Tokio treffen. Obwohl es im vorletzten Jahr einmal vorgekommen ist. Damals wurden die Schulen geschlossen. Das Gefährliche an diesen Taifunen ist der Regen und der starke Wind aber nicht wirklich in Tokio. In Tokio gibt es riesige unterirdische Kanäle die alles auffangen und dann direkt ins Meer pumpen. So kann keine U-Bahn Station voll Wasser laufen.
At the moment a taifun is approaching Japan. It unusual and out of the taifun season. It`s extreme seldom that a taifun hits Tokyo. Although it happend two years ago. At that time they closed all schools. A taifun brings a lot of rain and this is the dangerous part plus the strong gale. There is a huge underground canal systems which protects Tokyo from high floods. The water will be collected there and pumped direct to the sea. So the underground stations are safe from flooding.
